What we look for in scholarship candidates

Membership status

Required - Active CIFST membership at the time of application.

Academic excellence

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent), with emphasis on core food-science coursework.

Community involvement

Key factor - Active participation in student associations, faculty clubs, or CIFST events.

Professional vision

Key factor - Career statement demonstrating commitment to Quebec's food industry.
